Welcome to our class blog! Well, it has been an incredibly busy few weeks back at school, but we have thoroughly enjoyed being back - as you can see from the pictures. The children have been working so hard. This term our class novel is 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' by Roald Dahl. In writing, we have loved designing our own delicious, mouthwatering, scrumptious chocolate bars. Together as a class, we created a bank of high-level vocabulary to use in our expanded noun phrases. We have then further developed our sentences using a range of persuasive openers and conjunctions. We have then independently structured our very own persuasive advert using all the skills learned over the past three weeks - impressive right? Well, Mrs Taylor certainly thinks so!
